Fuck everyone
Advice for new writers
I created a Medium account in January of 2022 and didn't post a story for 30 days due to reading articles on what not to do when starting. I eventually said, "fuck everyone," and just started typing.
Three days later, I had 32 followers by following a step-by-step process. How did I get 30 followers in 3 days with no writing experience? Then, I saw one of those follower hack guides. The author had a bunch of valuable tips. Here are the ones that worked for me.
Keep it brief
Short writing forces you to be precise. Because our thoughts are usually abstract and all over the place, our writing tends to be the same.
Tell personal stories
Many self-help books follow the same formula: Tell a historical story, then draw lessons from it. Β
Assume nothing
Assume your reader doesn't know what they're reading. People are busy, so you can't expect they'll see what you're trying to show them.
5. Write short paragraphs

Keep your paragraphs to three to four sentences max.
Stop blogging; start writing
Writing is as much a skill as an art. You are blogging when you write in your private journal. Forget blogging. Start writing. Write regularly to help you discipline yourself in your craft.
Write for a publication or create your own
I contribute to three publications, two of them being my own. Writing for a publication is the easiest way to get more eyes on your writing with no extra effort.
